The Teamwork Award acknowledges a group of DFA employees (not an entire unit/department) that demonstrates an outstanding ability to work together to complete a task, goal or project. They may work within a unit or across departments that are not in the same unit. The group incorporates the DFA guiding principles in their work and considers the impact of process changes on affected units and the broader OSU community. The work should align with and advance the DFA strategic priorities. A team will be composed of a minimum of two individuals, as this is not an individual award. A successful nomination packet for the DFA Teamwork Award should include examples of how the nominees meet the majority of the following criteria. Nominations must be to acknowledge work completed between December 2023 and December 2024.

The DFA Teamwork Award recipients regularly exhibit characteristics such as:

• Regularly engage with DFA colleagues and/or university colleagues to achieve a common goal. 
• Engage in clear and transparent communication about the project with subject matter experts, stakeholders and customers. 
• Utilize structured and inclusive decision-making methods. 
• Balance process consistency with the flexibility needed to support the goals of the university community. 
• Actively participate in problem solving and work together to overcome obstacles. 
• Demonstrate outstanding teamwork and personalized interactions.
